Racist Real or Imagined?

I hear a lot about racism these days. I feel like being white almost makes one be a racist.I admit I do not understand "black culture" That doesn't make me a racist. I think a lot of black culture honors killing, drugs, and "hoes". Its in so much rap and movies:maybe I dont understand.My neighbor in the apartment below us told my landlord we are loud because we are racist.He truly thinks we scoot the chairs out for dinner because he is black.He even called the police on us once for being to loud and we were just eating dinner. We never have company, or play loud music. We just live our lives. I've been nice to this man, yet he accuses me of being a racist? This isn't the first time I or other white people I know have encountered unfounded accusations. Is it racist phobia? White phobia,an excuse? I'm not ignoring blacks suffering, nor am I trying to say anything against blacks. What does everyone think about racism? Is it widespread? I'd like everyone's opinion. Please be mature.
