Urgent i cut my finger, i need advice, preferably if your a doc. or nurse?

i cut my finger with a pocket knife when working. the blade wasn't dirty. the wound is about 1/2 in. long and an a little less than an eight of a inch deep. I cut it with the jagged part of the blade. It took about a minute or two to stop bleeding. I went through a couple of 4x4 in. sterile pads. I put iodine on it after it stopped bleeding then i wiped the excess off, put on neosporin, pushed both sides of the skin together and bandaged it tightly. I put on a bandage again cause i forgot neosporin the first time and it wasn't bleeding. I can still feel things with the finger. I don't know if i absolutely need stitches, i don't want to spend money at the doc. It does not hurt now. And the cut is between my nail and my first large knuckle and is at a angle slightly wrapping around my finger. Advice is all I need, thank you for your time.
