Was Frederick Dougl a conductor of the Underground Railroad?

Also, please cite your source and if you have any other info on Fredrick Dougl, his mother, and Nat Turner (about their rebelling against slavery) i would appreciate it sooo much! i have to write a spiritual song about them and how they rebelled against slavery. I really don't know where to start? but the underground railroad question is my main question. Also, what song should i do it to the tune of? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!
