How can Paul Williams show his face at the hospital?

Paul is the main reason why Colleen was kidnapped and is now facing death. He had his stupid sister right in his arms and he let her go. Paul was so busy crying and feeling sorry for Mary Jane that he holed her up in the church and refused to let anyone in. Victor and Paul together caused this tragedy and are responsible for Paul's death. Why is everyone being so kumbaya about the whole thing? Tracy is not acting the way a normal mother would act in this situation. What do you think?
